ATI Hydraulic Power Units are completely self-contained and designed to operate hydraulic actuators and provide a power reserve when the primary power source is lost when an accumulator is added to the unit. HPUs have a capacity up to 10 HP to operate one or more actuators and HPU scan be designed for any voltage, to deliver the required high pressure (up to 5000 psi) hydraulic fluid required to operate a single or multiple actuators. HPUs are skid mounted or mounted in an enclosure with all connections manifolded for easy field installation. Each HPU is mounted with a reservoir integral to the pump up to 50 gallons.
This control system is a self-contained power and control source to drive either linear or quarter-turn pneumatic valve actuators. Only a 120-vac power source is needed.
This solution is equipped with complete electronic controls for fail-safe or double-acting actuation. The totally self contained unit has an electric motor, starter, air pump, direction control valves, and electrical controls. The nominal pressure range of 80-1OO psig offers the customer the ability to size a pneumatic actuator based upon a reliable air supply source. Fail-Safe action can be achieved by using a spring-return actuator or by using an air accumulator system with a double-acting actuator.
These units are ideal where there is a need for valve automation but little or no air available. They are cost effective in lieu of electric actuators when higher torques or thrusts are required. A pressure switch controls the compressor. Once the command to open or close is given, the system will automatically cycle and shut itself off. Controls for both local and remote operation are standard with a pilot light array.
